My Hedhammar is a professor in molecular biosciences at the department of Protein Science, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. She is Principal Investigator (PI) at the Division of Protein Technology, leading a research group working on the development of silk-based materials from biomedical applications. The group has developed the functionalized silk system and methods for the formulation of silk into ECM-like structures suitable for 3D cell culture and tissue models.
Within GUTVIBRATIONS, My will be supervising the researcher Mona Widhe and a PhD student (to be recruited).
